Mother’s day is upon you! I did a dinner for my mother and father in honor of Mother’s day on cinco de mayo, which was a cool and cloudy day in the coast range. I put together a hearty meal of seared tandoori rubbed lamb rib chops with creamed spinach, and a lime mint cream sauce paired with the same Minervios I drank with my pate. It went over well with the guest of honor and her side kick and was a hearty and rich way to usher out what will hopefully be one of the last cold days of the season. Happy Mother’s day!
