Mitchell Feinberg

I was flipping through my February issue of Bon Appetit (which arrived  late due to a mix up at Conde Nast) when I saw Mitchell’s photography. His food photos are truly unique, he shoots food as an object, almost not in the context of food, but more a study of color, shape, texture, and light. There are many beautiful photos in his portfolio, but the cover he did for the latest winter issue of Gastronomica is one of the most striking food pictures ever! This photo for many of us is a literal interpretation of how we feel about pork, especially the seldom used parts… solid gold!
