Octopus In Oil

Matiz Gallego makes some really great canned seafood, and I have long been a fan of their sardines. My new favorite larder item from them however is the octopus! It is tender, perfectly seasoned, and hand packed in olive oil. It keeps forever in your pantry and is really versatile, one of my favorite ways to eat it is sauteed in a pan with carrots, garlic, and harissa, then put it over some greens and finish with a squeeze of lemon juice. You can find this stuff at Pastaworks all the time.
